Environmental protection at X-Floc

We show responsibility for our environment and finite resources, for example by using energy and natural raw materials carefully and sparingly. The company building with its own photovoltaic system symbolises our efforts. We also want our products to contribute to the sustainable protection of people, the environment and resources by permanently reducing CO2 emissions in the residential sector.

Under ‘Environmental protection by X-Floc in figures’ on the start and end of this subpage you will find an extrapolation of the amount of carbon dioxide saved in correlation to the amount of insulation material installed with the help of X-Floc machines.

Of course, we also see it as our duty to draw attention to the need to dispose of our machines in an environmentally responsible manner once they have been dismantled. You will find the relevant information below.

Notes on final disposal

In view of the current regulations, standards and directives on the disposal of old machines and electrical appliances as well as environmental protection, we would like to expressly remind you as our customers once again to comply with the statutory regulations:

If the machine is finally taken out of service, it must be dismantled into its individual parts.

The following points must be observed:

The machine must be disconnected from the power supply as well as from all cable and hose connections etc.

The machine must be dismantled into its individual parts for final disposal.

The individual parts must be disposed of in accordance with the applicable national laws and regulations and environmental protection directives.

Therefore, find out about the current disposal routes in your municipality.

In accordance with environmental protection guidelines, it is prohibited to dispose of cable remnants, machine components, batteries and accumulators in household waste.

Dispose of all machine components (e.g. cable remnants, oils, metal components, rechargeable batteries and old batteries) in accordance with the regulations via your recycling centre or return the machine to X-Floc Dämmtechnik-Maschinen GmbH for final disposal by prior arrangement.

Hazards due to harmful substances

Improper storage, use or disposal of batteries, rechargeable batteries and machine components pose a risk to human and animal health.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries contained in machines and old electrical appliances that can be removed without causing damage must be disposed of separately from the machine and appliance.

Risk of injury during disassembly

Dismantling work that the operator cannot and must not carry out himself due to his level of knowledge must be carried out by trained specialist personnel.
