About X-Floc and our history

X-Floc Dämmtechnik-Maschinen GmbH, based in Renningen near Stuttgart, has been developing blow-in machines since 1994. At that time, only blow-in machines from the USA were available in Europe, and the founders of X-Floc quickly recognised the weaknesses of these very simple machines.

Since then, X-Floc has developed many innovations and design standards in the pneumatic conveyance of insulation materials, many of which have become established as state of the art.

Milestones here include, for example, the convenient and advanced control options of the machines with the FFB2000-Pro radio remote control, as well as dynamic pressure control and automatic shutdown, sluice venting, advanced ergonomic standards, the compact and robust design of the machines, and the closed filling containers with strip curtains and the option of active dust extraction. Many of these innovations are part of the basic equipment of an X-Floc blowing machine.

One important development goal of X-Floc has never changed: the blowing machines should be highly compatible with all blowing insulation materials available on the market (cellulose, wood fibre, mineral wool, granulates, bulk materials and composite materials). This gives you, the user, a great deal of flexibility in terms of the requirements of the respective construction project and allows you to react quickly to changes in the market.

The revised original model of the "Zellofant", the EM95, is still in production today and many first-generation machines are still in use. This fact speaks for itself. This machine is the symbol of blow-in technology in Europe. Thousands of users still successfully use this type of machine today.

But of course, time has not stood still. The requirements for blow-in machines have grown as a result of the further development of blow-in insulation materials. Here too, X-Floc continues to set new standards, e.g. with the EM3xx and EM4xx machine series. In addition, we develop special blow-in machines on request for use in specific areas of application that require special blow-in technology.

In the recent past, our development department has enabled us to realise a number of projects in plant engineering. We are known on the market as specialists in pneumatic conveying and are happy to offer our expertise in this area. Another field is stationary filling technology for prefabricated house construction and the pre-production of building components. Here, we offer the Fibreblow® Essential and Premium product lines, which are system solutions for the industrial filling of frame elements. The patented technology enables seamless scaling from semi- to fully automated processes, integration into existing production lines and connection to software-controlled bridge and robot systems.
