When it comes to the spraying process, one should distinguish between two very important procedures:
- Coating of wall and ceiling elements with water or a glue additive
- Open inflation with water additive.
Small sprayheads with two nozzles are best suited for coating walls or ceilings. The use of glue is optional and in most cases only water is used as liquid additive.
Terminators and other sprayheads with 4 nozzles may also be used for coating of walls after careful adjustment. But, it is more common for these tools to be used for open inflation with water additive. Spray pipes and terminators offer several advantages:
- Improved aiming when applying insulation material a few metres away
- Lesser dust-creation thanks to the water additive
- Binding of the insulation material because of the introduction of liquid.
The following sprayheads are often used:
- 2-stream sprayhead NW50 M03
- Spray pipe / terminator NW63 / 2 1/2'' with 4 nozzles
- Spray pipe / terminator NW75 / 3'' with 4 nozzles.
